～Africa-Japan Business dinner and Gala night 2023～

わたくし達はアフリカ・ジャパン・ブリッジ（アフリカと日本の架け橋）です。 2050年の世界人口はアフリカが40％、アジアが40％、アフリカとアジアが、世界の80%を占めることになる。一方で、アジア、世界のリーダーとして活躍していく日本人にとって、アフリカは遠い国の印象です。アフリカの国々と日本の経済界のをつなぐ機会であるチャリティーイベント「アフリカジャパンナイト2023」を開催します。こちらは来年の国際アフリカデー（5/25）に行う予定のチャリティーイベントのプレパーティーであり、東京にいるアフリカの関係者と、日本とアフリカの共栄を願う人々が交流を図る絶好の機会です。皆様が感じているように、日本におけるアフリカへの関心は、西洋諸国への関心に比して大きいものであるとは言えません。しかし、これからすごい勢いで成長をしていくアフリカに関心を持ち、交流を深めていくことは、お互いの成長のために重要であり不可欠です。このパーティーを、お互いを知るきっかけに、交流の糸口にしていただけたら幸いです。

We are Africa-Japan Bridge(a bridge between Africa and Japan).

In 2050, Africa will account for 40% of the world's population, Asia will account for 40%, and Africa and Asia will account for 80% of the world's population. On the other hand, for Japanese people who are active as leaders in Asia and the world, Africa seems like a distant country. We will hold the charity event "Africa Japan Night 2023", which is an opportunity to connect African countries and the Japanese business community. This is a pre-party for a charity event scheduled for next year's International Africa Day (5/25), and is a great opportunity for African stakeholders in Tokyo to interact with those who wish for the co-prosperity of Japan and Africa.
As you all feel, Japan's interest in Africa cannot be said to be as great as its interest in Western countries. However, it is important and essential for mutual growth to have an interest in Africa, which is growing at a tremendous rate, and to deepen exchanges. We hope that this party will be an opportunity for you to get to know each other and become an opportunity for interaction.

●Many Japanese companies are also seeking connections with African society.
