History


NanoZone was founded in 2014. Its foundation was preceded by four years of active activity in the segment of nano technological materials and their applications, gaining experience and knowledge in this promising field.

In 2014, we established direct communication with a leading Japanese manufacturer of advanced photoactive titanium-based nano material. After many months of communication and negotiations about the entry of this prestigious company into the EU markets, we established direct business cooperation and began preparations for the opening of a centre for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

At the end of 2014, NanoZone became an official member of the Osaka-based nanoYo GROUP after meeting all membership criteria and gained the position of sole representative for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

This cooperation was confirmed by the signing of a cooperation agreement and the obtaining of an international certificate for representing the nanoYo GROUP.

A delegation from Japan, headed by nanoYo President Mr. Takamatsu Masayuki, visited our country in December 2014 and signed a commercial representation and certificate agreement. See. Photo.

We have thus become holders of many international certificates and protocols held by all members of the nanoYo GROUP. Our co-workers were trained and educated directly by Japanese partners and colleagues and thus acquired the highest possible professional competence for professional provision of services related to professional applications of TiZonicnano material .

In 2016, we entered into a contract with nanoYo that establishes NanoZone as the exclusive importer of nanoYo to EU and Russian countries. This Agreement also applies to new, related products that we will import for subsequent distribution.

Research and development

NanoZone began to intensively develop cooperation with many industry research authorities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, launched its own application research, realized the first applications of tizonicnano material .
More than 12 years of international experience in implementing professional applications and with their results have moved our company very significantly forward and that is why I am a market leader today.
In the form of assignments of research tasks, in cooperation with the Institutes of Witnesses, the diagnostics of the structure of the nano material TiZonic, its properties, effects were assessed. Based on the Research Report prepared for our company by Masaryk University, we hold all important and necessary protocols by which we are able to declare in a completely transparent and reliable way the basic characteristics of our nano material, precise morphological composition, effects and their effects.

In cooperation with the RÚVZ in Poprad, our company has obtained protocols that reliably verify the safety of nano material.

NanoZone has established a close cooperation with Asio, which together with MU carries out in the form of a research task assessing the stability of TiZonic nano material during outdoor exposure, evaluation of antifouling properties, etc.

Since nanoYo GROUP has provided us with very strong support for the first year of our activities in all respects, we are able to attract partners for cooperation. We have already implemented significant applications in medical facilities, many interiors where nano applications have their merits, we have carried out treatment of building exteriors, we have started implementing applications in the AUTOMOTIVE segment in cooperation with the largest car dealer in the EU – Porsche Inter Auto and its first 4th branch plants.

Our trading strategy is based on Projects selected market segments.

One of the most common questions related to nano particles and their applications is the issue of safety towards human health and the environment. Nano titanium oxide is considered safe in this respect and is therefore used, for example, as a food supplement or active ingredient in all sunscreens. However, the topic of nano particle size remains. If the nano particles that are handled and carried out by the application are under control, i.e. technological procedures are followed, everything is fine here too. Particles do not migrate to the environment due to absolute adhesion and thus do not create any danger. In this respect, NanoZone has prepared a unique project with the VSB - Technical University of IET and the University of Ostrava, which aims to test the possible release of nano particles when applied to the surfaces of drinking water tanks that come into long-term contact with drinking water. At the same time, the project focuses on

1) microbial screening of water samples taken and blind during 12 months

2) ecotoxicity test in collected water

3) biological activity test in collected water (DNA test)

4) analysis of the water collected in relation to hygiene limits

The project started on June 1, 2018 and the Ministry of Industry and Trade supported it by granting a voucher. 

The aim of the projects is to implement so-calledreference applications in which our customer and our company have the opportunity to verify and confirm the degree of effects. The indisputable advantage of the projects is also the significant financial participation of the nanoYo GROUP and our company.

Certificates


The Japanese were the first in the world to develop and implement a system that allows the evaluation of nano materials and the issuance of certificates. This system gives a clear answer to what visions are and what reality is. As a result, photocalysis has also been used seriously in commercial applications in Japan.

The Czech Society for Applied Phototatalysis assumes that the system will be based in the Czech Republic on the same principles as in Japan. This requires the fulfilment of three basic conditions: firstly, it is necessary to establish technical parameters that reliably affect the functional characteristics and appropriateness of the use of photocalysis products. Secondly, these technical parameters must be reliably measured by verified test procedures enshrined in technical standards. The third condition is an assessment of the impact of the product on human health and the environment. A serious approach in the implementation of the built system for evaluation and certification of products and in the implementation of the results of science and research in the field of photoactive nano materials is guaranteed by the Scientific Council, established within the Czech Society for Applied Phototatalysis as its advisory body, especially for solving technical issues.

NanoZone s.r.o. actively participates in the fulfilment of all three of these basic conditions in the Czech Republic and Slovakia with the help of materials, experience and results of professional research by a Japanese partner, its own applied research and cooperation with many interested companies.

Product Safety Statement

NanoZone, s.r.o. has been a member of the nanoYo GROUP nanotechnology group based in Japan since 2014 and its sole representative, nano material importer TiZonic and partner for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The company is focused on the implementation of professional applications of nano materials based on small titanium particles to surfaces of surfaces that transmit new, useful properties to treated surfaces. On treated surfaces, long-term, permanent, very effective regulation of biological contamination, elimination of microorganisms takes place. It is a new sanitary technology that is already used in medical institutions (hospitals in VMSK, MNO Fifejdy, ambulances, medical and rehabilitation facilities, food industry and others).
NanoZone, s.r.o. applies and exports this hygienic technology – nano material labeled TiZonic - colloidal dispersion, which contains 95.5% distilled water, 4% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and 0.5% TiO2. We will also now use nano material containing TiO2 0,05%. It is an anatas form of nano titanium oxide, with a particle size smaller than 7 nm, which acts as a photocalyst. It provokes a phenomenon called phototatalysis.
Pursuant to Regulation No 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council (EC) of 16 December 2008 on the classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures, amending and repealing Directives 67/548/EEC and 1999/45/EC and amending Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, consolidated version 01/01/2020, a mixture of classifications containing substances referred to as carcinogenic is specified in Annex I: 3.6.3.1.1.
A mixture is considered carcinogenic if the content of a substance classified as a category 2 carcinogen is greater than or equal to 1 % by weight (> 1,0 % w/w). Where the substance content is more than 0,1 % by weight, a safety data sheet should be available on request.
NanoZone uses a product where the titanium dioxide content is either O.5% or 0.05% by weight, so the mixture is not classified as carcinogenic and no safety data sheet is required for this mixture with regard to the TiO content2.

The manufacturer of this product is the Japanese company nanoYo Co., Ltd., headquartered in Osaka

TiO2 is also commonly used as an ingredient in medicines, foods (yogurts, milk, candies, ...), cosmetic products, including sunscreens, etc.
The Official Journal of the European Union shows that COMMISSION Regulation No 1129/2011 of 11 November 2011 amends Annex II to Regulation No 1333/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council (EC) by establishing a list of Food Additives of the Union.

The technology in question is not a specified product within the meaning of Act No. 22/1997 Coll., on technical requirements for products and on the amendment and addition of certain laws, as amended.
Titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO2) have been used as active ingredients in sunscreens for three decades because they filter the ultraviolet – UVA and UVB – wavelength spectrums and provide better wider protection than any other reagent.
Nano TiO particles2 for example, they are approved for use in sunscreens in Australia by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). In August 2016, the TGA updated its scientific overviews on the safety of titanium dioxide nanoparticles in solar protective equipment. Most of the studies included in the review showed that these nanoparticles do not permeate, or very minimally permeate, the skin. The TGA's conclusion was that nanoparticles used as additives in sunscreens are unlikely to cause any damage when using sunscreens as directed.


For its internal needs, the importer had the product safety assessment of TiZonic carried out by the Regional Health Service with its headquarters in Poprade, The National Referent Laboratory pre materials prichádzayúce into priame contact with food, when the following tests were carried out:

TiO Content Analysis₂ in water

The titanium content in water was analysed using the AAS, SEM/EDS and XRD methods. The AAS analysis did not show a statistically significant difference between the titanium content of the drinking water samples from the control (untreated) tank and the tank treated with TiZonic. The presence of titanium has not been demonstrated by either of the other two methods used.

Analysis of titanium nanoparticles present in water

Similarly, the effect of TiZonic on biological activity monitored by the A549 cell viability test was not found, and the Ames genotoxicity test did not show that TiZonic induces a mutagenic effect in water samples

Conclusions:

The presence of titanium was not observed in any of the water samples analysed from the treated tank.

On the basis of these results, it can be concluded that with the increasing period of action of the nanomement, there is no significant increase in the toxic effect on the indicator organism in samples of treated drinking water.

A comparison of test results with and without TiZonic results shows that TiZonic does not induce a mutagenic effect in water samples.

In view of the above, NanoZone declares that the sanitary technology used is SAFE under the conditions of the above mentioned use and in accordance with the specified application procedures
