An honorary consul is appointed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is not a public servant, and does not receive remuneration.
The main purpose of Honorary Consulate of Sri Lanka in Osaka are to support Sri Lankans visiting Kansai region, mainly Osaka (consultations on lost passports, etc.), and to promote international exchange.

For document support for Sri Lankans, first download the necessary documents from the Embassy's website in Tokyo, then prepare all of the documents, along with the originals and copies, before making an appointment.
